A Yantra is a symbol for the heart - it stands for Compassion, Love, and Truth. We built Yoga Yantra from that foundation up. The studio floors are made of bamboo so that no tree was harmed; our blocks are made of natural cork instead of foam blocks; the yoga mats are made of recycled yoga mats; and our bolsters are made with all natural fibers. Everything used and sold at the Yoga Yantra studio is sourced from ethical distributors and providers. We strongly believe that we must be the light we wish to see in the world and we do our best to live by that.
The studio overlooks the majestic San Jacinto Mountains in beautiful Palm Springs. We service Coachella Valley as well as the High Desert, including Joshua Tree.
As yoga teachers, we have a deep desire to serve our yogi students and our community. We approach every class with love and compassion to ourselves and to one another. We strive to always deliver the truthful and authentic yoga as it has been passed down for thousands of years.
Mission & Vision: At Yoga Yantra, we are dedicated to embodying and transmitting the authentic wisdom and experience of yoga to further the evolution of humanity. As such, we have created a space of love and compassion to allow for the truthful transmission and experience of yoga.
We look forward to serving you. Namaste.

Dina has been practicing yoga for 20 years and meditation for over 25 years. She subscribes to and lives by the philosophy of Know Thyself. Dina’s Yoga training was transformed after she moved to Bali, Indonesia where she learned the ancient healing methods of the whole of Yoga, which included Meditation, Pranayama (breath work) Ayurveda, philosophy & lifestyle, Mantra, Puja, Reiki & energy healing, and traditional Hatha yoga. There she studied with local healers and masters and travelled to the island of Java to further deepen her studies. Dina then lived in an ashram where she practiced daily meditation, yoga, chanting, puja, kirtans, service, and so on. She then travelled to Singapore to learn about Traditional Chinese Medicine using roots, mushrooms, and herbs for medicine and detoxification, as well as studies in acupressure and reflexology. Dina then found her first mentor and began an in-depth multi-year study in yoga therapy and Hatha Yoga. Her focus dove deep into pranayama techniques, yoga philosophy, studies in Chakras, prana, meridians, and more. From there, Dina refined her practice and incorporated more advanced techniques including bandhas and Kriyas. Currently, Dina is deepening her studies in Kriya yoga and Ashtanga yoga. After reading Patanjali’s Sutras, Dina dedicated herself to living the yogi lifestyle of service and loving kindness in thought, word, and deed.
Dina has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Bachelor in Business Management and Organizational Studies. She has published a book on mantra chanting and is currently working on expanding her book in methods and practices in Self-Realization. She has been personally mentored by masters in Hatha Yoga, Kriya Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama (yogic breath work), Meditation, Ayurveda, Reiki & energetic healing, Blessings and Purifications. Dina has dedicated her life to both pursuing the yogi path as well as guiding others on their own path to Self-Realization.
Dina teaches Meditation, Pranayama, Mantra chanting, Hatha Yoga, Kriya Yoga and provides 1-on-1 mentorships in several forms of studies. She also offers energetic healing and spiritual guidance to those who seek it. Namaste
Nina Kulkarni grew up in Pune, India. Yoga and meditation was an integral part of her upbringing. Nina has completed over 300 hrs of teacher training at the Jayswal Naturopathy and Yoga center in Pune, India in 2011. Since then, she has continued to build and expand on her knowledge. She recently completed 300 hours training Viniyoga from The Worldview Yoga School in the lineage of Krishnamacharya and T.K.V Desikachar in 2019. Nina strives to be a lifelong student of yogic philosophy and loves visiting yoga ashrams during her yearly visits to India. Sanskrit was a part of her school curriculum in India, which has been a blessing in her continued study of the Yoga Sutras. Nina believes that there is a treasure of untapped potential in a simple, yet complex, cycle of breath. Her yoga class consists of a combination of meditation, pranayama, and asanas. She likes to bring the playfulness of a dance and the stillness of meditation into her yoga practice. To her, yoga is essentially a moving meditation and the goal of yoga is self-discovery.
Nina has always been fascinated with the mind-body dynamic. In addition to yoga training, Nina also has a masters degree in Psychology and a background Indian classical dance, Kathak. She came to the USA as a Phd student in Social Psychology but yoga & meditation is where she found her calling.
Nina's quotes: "The universe too breathes.” Never underestimate the power of a simple breath.
"Practice yoga like you are doing a joyful yet calm dance"
